oUR HOUSTING ORGANIZATION
KobieTY association is a non-profit, apolitical, non-governmental consulting-educational organization located in Łódź, Poland and established in the year 2000.
Their principal aim is to identify the current needs of the local society and undertake activities and projects to bring social change to the communities through international projects. Since 2006 KobieTy has realized a number of projects, through Youth in Action program and within Erasmus + framework. The projects include long and short term European voluntary services, youth exchanges, contact seminars, training courses, long term partnership projects, senior volunteering projects.
On the local level we are running projects focusing on non-violent communication, women development and empowerment.
The main goals are:
- Creating intercultural bridges between local and international people.
- Supporting intergenerational approach;
- Promoting European Voluntary Service;
- Identifying the needs of local community according to our mission and trying to answer them through international projects;
- Using media tools as transcultural way of expression and communication
